The EGFs (Epidermal Growth Factors) are a family of proteins naturally present in the skin, which contribute to its renewal. Their presence decreases with age.

The exosomes are tiny vesicles that circulate between cells. In a cosmetic formula, they act as carriers: they deliver active ingredients more effectively to the heart of the skin.

No. The Youth Serum has a fluid, lightweight texture that absorbs very quickly. The Augmented Youth Serum is richer, more enveloping, with a silky texture.

With all of them, with one exception: vitamin C.

Like the Youth Serum, the Augmented Youth Serum contains copper peptides. Copper peptides and vitamin C neutralize each other when layered within the same routine.

Instead, apply vitamin C in the morning and the Augmented Youth Serum at night. This way, you get the full benefit of both.

Exosomes, T-EGF and bio-placenta are among the most expensive raw materials in cosmetics. Their production is a matter of biotechnology, not extraction: long, complex processes that weigh heavily on the cost of the ingredient. Add to that our usual rule. We dose them at the evidence-based percentage, the one at which efficacy has been documented.

The price of the bottle reflects the cost of the formula.

Bio-Placenta is neither of human nor animal origin. It is a 100% biotechnological active ingredient, obtained through microbial fermentation in a bioreactor.

Its name comes from its source of inspiration. The placenta is the nurturing environment par excellence: it is the organ that enables an entire organism to grow, and it is naturally rich in growth factors, peptides, and amino acids. Bio-Placenta reproduces this profile thanks to five biomimetic growth factors (EGF, IGF-1, aFGF, bFGF, and VEGF), combined with a soy ferment and hyaluronic acid.

The name “placenta” therefore describes a function, not an origin.

The exosomes in the Augmented Youth Serum are 100% vegan. They are neither of human nor animal origin.

They are derived from a micro-algae and obtained through a patented bioengineering process. These are biomimetic exosomes: their structure, composition and function are inspired by those of human exosomes, the vesicles that act as messengers between skin cells.

Their size is controlled (around 150 nm) and their concentration is standardized, ensuring consistent quality from batch to batch.

The general protocol for our masks is to perform the session on clean, dry skin, then apply your skincare products. This is what we recommend by default.

There is no threshold. The right question concerns the state of your skin and your goal. If you are generally satisfied with your skin and are looking to prevent, the Youth Serum is enough. If the loss of firmness is visible and established, the Augmented Youth Serum is the right choice.

The formula does not contain any active ingredient that is contraindicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding: no retinoid, nor any other active ingredient discouraged during these periods.
