Antioxidants

Antioxidants, such as green tea and vitamin C derivatives, are active ingredients scientifically associated with protection against oxidative stress. Free radicals are unstable and reactive molecules produced in the body in response to factors like pollution, UV rays, or stress. They are documented as one of the factors linked to visible signs of aging: wrinkles, loss of firmness, pigmentation irregularities, fine lines.
Green tea is a rich source of polyphenols, especially catechins, whose antioxidant and soothing properties are scientifically documented. These properties help neutralize free radicals and visibly reduce redness.
Vitamin C derivatives, such as ascorbic acid, are linked to complementary antioxidant activity. Vitamin C is also associated with normal collagen formation to ensure normal skin function (EFSA authorized claim) and visible reduction of pigmentation irregularities.
