Why did you choose these technological settings?

Every parameter built into the LED Eye Mask X200 (wavelengths 633/830 nm, irradiance 50 mW/cm², fluence 30 J/cm², precision ±2 nm) has been validated in our own independent GREDECO clinical studies, conducted in France under dermatological supervision. Over 3 years, we have carried out 5 clinical studies on our LED face masks to advance our knowledge and expertise. These studies documented the effects of these precise parameters on firmness, elasticity, radiance, signs of fatigue and wrinkles.°

The layout and concentration of the 200 LEDs have been designed to minimise poorly exposed areas and to promote an even diffusion of light across the entire upper third of the face.

Is the technology the same as LED face masks?

Yes. The X200 LED Eye Mask features exactly the same key parameters as the Elite X600 and the Le Professionnel Mask: 633/830 nm ±2 nm wavelengths, 50 mW/cm² irradiance. The difference is the application area: where our facial masks cover the entire face, the Eye Mask concentrates this same technology precisely on the eye area and the upper third of the face.°

What is the difference between the X200 LED Eye Mask and other NOOĀNCE masks?

All NOOĀNCE masks share the same technological expertise: 633/830 nm wavelengths, ±2 nm precision. What distinguishes them is their coverage area and intensity level.

The LED Eye Mask X200: 200 LEDs, is entirely dedicated to the eye area and the upper third of the face. Crow's feet, frown lines, forehead wrinkles, dark circles: the most delicate area and the most exposed to the first signs of aging.

The Aurion X252: 252 LEDs, covers the entire face down to the jawline. Designed to act on the first signs of aging, with a focus on complexion evenness, radiance, and skin texture.

The Professional Mask: 254 LEDs, is for skin seeking a global and intensive anti-aging action on established wrinkles, density, and radiance.

The Elite X600: 600 LEDs, the highest light density in the range, for skin seeking the most comprehensive level of efficacy across all anti-aging parameters.

Why do your masks use only two LED colours?

Many LED masks display 5, 6, or even 9 different colours. What is rarely mentioned: each additional wavelength reduces the energy available for the others. The more colours a device combines, the more the LEDs are divided and the more the irradiance of each wavelength decreases, often falling below the threshold of clinical effectiveness.

That is why our LEDs are Dual-Core: each LED has only two wavelengths, red at 633 nm and infrared at 830 nm, so that each one receives the maximum available energy. Two colours: a choice that ensures irradiance sufficient to be effective.

These two wavelengths are also the ones we validated in our own independent clinical studies (GREDECO), under dermatological supervision.

How do you ensure your measurements are reliable?

NOOĀNCE manufactures its own products and develops them within the EN ISO 13485 framework, the design and quality standard used for medical-grade products. Our products are not medical devices, but applying this standard imposes exacting design rigour on us.

In practical terms, this means that every NOOĀNCE product is designed to meet the real needs of users, tested at each development phase from prototype to final product, and manufactured with guaranteed safety and performance.

During production, each mask is tested individually at 100%. Among the criteria verified: battery life and performance, irradiance measurement by wavelength, and the spectral precision of each LED. All these results are recorded in a batch file, and every product is individually traceable.

Our ISO 13485 certification is audited every year by Bureau Veritas, an independent, globally recognised certification body.

In addition, we appoint SGS, a leading independent laboratory in inspection and certification present in 115 countries, to objectively verify the compliance and performance of our products.

It is this level of rigour that allows us to communicate precisely about our parameters: irradiance, the spectral precision of the LEDs, and fluence per session.

How to use the X200 LED Eye Mask?

Clean and dry your skin before each session. Position the mask on the upper third of your face, ensuring it fits snugly around the eye area. Press the ON/OFF button to start the session. The mask will automatically turn off after 10 minutes. Then apply your usual skincare routine.

How often should I use it?

We recommend 3 sessions of 10 minutes per week. This is the protocol used in the independent GREDECO clinical studies conducted on our masks sharing the same technological parameters (633/830 nm, 50 mW/cm²).° Avoid prolonged interruptions; consistency determines the results.

Should I do a patch test before the first use?

Yes, we recommend performing a light sensitivity test before your first use on the face. Turn on the mask and place it on your forearm for 5 minutes. Then inspect the area: if redness persists for more than 2 hours, your skin is hypersensitive to light. Discontinue use and contact our customer service. If there is no reaction, you can use the mask normally on the eye area.

Can I use it with my usual skincare routine?

Yes. Apply your usual skincare routine after each session (eye contour serum, moisturiser, etc.). The session is carried out on clean, dry skin, without any product applied beforehand to the treated area. Do not use highly concentrated photosensitising active ingredients (retinol, strong acids, etc.) in the hours before the session. If in doubt, consult your dermatologist.

How do I clean the mask?

Before any cleaning, switch off the device. Clean the inner surface of the mask with a soft cotton cloth lightly dampened with water. Stubborn marks can be removed with 70° alcohol. Clean the silicone eye protectors with 70° alcohol wipes after each use. Allow to air-dry. Never immerse the mask in water and do not use solvents or abrasive products. For hygiene reasons, we advise against sharing the mask without first disinfecting the surface in contact with the skin.

Are there any particular precautions to take?

Yes. Before first use, we recommend reading the instruction leaflet supplied with the mask. It sets out all the warnings, contraindications and precautions to observe, in particular during pregnancy, while taking medication, in the case of an eye condition, or for those under 18. If you have any doubt about your personal situation, please consult your doctor or dermatologist before use.

Are there any contraindications?

Yes. Use of the mask is contraindicated in the following cases: Active cancer or cancerous lesion, Suspicious or precancerous lesions, Ongoing photosensitising medication (certain antibiotics, prescription retinoids, chemotherapy), History of epilepsy or light-triggered seizures, Known allergy to silicone, Diagnosed eye disorders (glaucoma, retinopathy, progressive cataract, etc.), Vitiligo, Open wounds, bacterial infection or sunburned skin on the treated area, Recent surgery or laser treatment on the area, Fever, acute inflammation or serious circulatory disorder.

If in doubt, consult your doctor or dermatologist before any use.

Is it dangerous for the eyes?

The X200 LED Eye Mask has been designed for safe use on the eye area. When used in accordance with the instructions, the 633 nm and 830 nm wavelengths do not pose a risk to the eyes. Do not look directly at the LEDs during the session. Silicone protectors are provided; use them if you are particularly sensitive to light or if you experience discomfort.

Is the mask portable?

Yes, completely. The battery is built directly into the mask — no remote, no cords during your session. You're free to move throughout each session.

What is the battery life?

The battery provides 60 to 70 minutes of use, that is 6 to 7 full sessions between charges.

How do you charge the mask?

The mask charges via the supplied charging base, or directly with the included USB-C cable, whichever you prefer. Do not use the mask when it is wet, and do not charge it if the device has been in contact with water.

Why treat the eye contour area specifically?

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face, up to 4 times thinner than elsewhere. Subject to approximately 10,000 blinks per day, it is the most stressed area, and therefore the first to show wrinkles and fine lines. In any anti-aging approach, this is where you need to act first.

Can I use the X200 LED Eye Mask even if I already own the X600 Elite Mask?

Yes. The X200 LED Eye Mask was specifically designed for the eye contour, while the Elite X600 targets the entire face. Use the X200 for targeted sessions or on the go, the Elite X600 for a complete facial treatment.

What skincare products can I use specifically with the X200 LED Eye Mask?

To complete your eye contour routine, you can use one or more of the following products:

  • The Youth Eye Contour Serum, before or after your session, to firm, smooth and decongest.
  • The Intense Eye Contour Treatment, before or after your session, to smooth, brighten and moisturize.
  • The Mist Serum, before your session, to strengthen, brighten and protect the skin.
Why do the sessions last 10 minutes?

The 10-minute duration per session was determined through our independent GREDECO clinical studies. It is this fractionation that demonstrated its effectiveness: short, regular sessions each deliver a fluence of 30 J/cm². The dose is calibrated according to our clinical protocol, and it is the dose at which the effects on the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles and radiance were objectified.*
