FAQ: Care
In what order should I apply the copper peptide serum in my routine?
The copper peptide serum is applied first, on clean, dry skin. Wait a few minutes before applying your other skincare products on top. This sequence optimizes active ingredient penetration.
Do peptides accelerate the growth of facial peach fuzz?
No. No study shows that peptides promote hair growth. They do not act on the hair follicle and therefore have no effect on hair growth.
What is the difference between the Multi-Active Serum and the Youth Copper Peptide Serum?
Both serums address visible signs of aging and can complement each other. The Multi-Active Serum combines 8% peptides with a complex of actives targeting radiance, hydration, and skin quality daily. It can be used alone in an anti-aging routine.
The Youth Copper Peptide Serum focuses its action on the copper peptide (GHK-Cu), one of the most documented peptides in scientific literature for its effects on skin quality over time. It also includes an encapsulation technology (Cosmetic Drone) that enhances penetration and bioavailability of actives. It is particularly suited for intensive anti-aging routines.
When should I start an anti-aging skincare routine?
Between 25 and 35 years old, the period when natural collagen production begins to decline. Skin aging can also be accelerated by external factors such as sun exposure, pollution, stress, lack of sleep, or smoking. Starting early helps preserve skin quality over time.
Can pure vitamin C and copper peptides be combined?
No, not at the same time. Pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and copper peptides cancel each other out when applied simultaneously. The best practice is to use pure vitamin C in the morning and the copper peptide serum in the evening. However, pure vitamin C is fully compatible with the NOOĀNCE Multi-Active Serum.
Can serums be mixed together?
We advise against mixing serums directly. Our formulas are designed to ensure optimal penetration of each active ingredient. Applying them one after the other, leaving a few minutes between each, gives better results than mixing them in your hand.
Does eye contour care reduce puffiness?
It depends on the type of puffiness. Our eye contour care can help reduce the appearance of edematous puffiness, the kind that naturally decreases throughout the day. However, for fatty puffiness of anatomical origin, cosmetic skincare has no proven effect. In such cases, only medical or dermatological advice can guide you to appropriate solutions.
Is the Elixir with 10 precious oils suitable for blemish-prone skin?
Yes. The Elixir is formulated to suit all skin types, including acne-prone skin. The jojoba and nigella oils it contains are documented for their tolerance on this skin type. Since comedogenicity is a reaction specific to each individual, we recommend performing a skin test on a small area before full application.
Can I use a retinol cream in the morning?
As a general rule, retinol is preferably used in the evening because it increases the skin's sensitivity to UV rays. However, the Intensive Radiance Cream contains encapsulated retinol at a very low concentration (0.1%), a more stable and less photosensitizing form than free retinol. It can be used in the morning in combination with appropriate sun protection.
Are your products vegan?
The vast majority of our skincare is vegan. Exceptions are the products containing retinol, whose formula includes a honey derivative. The full list of ingredients is available on each product page on the website.
Can retinol and copper peptides be combined?
Yes, retinol-based skincare and the Youth Serum with Copper Peptides are fully compatible. Apply the copper peptide serum first, then the retinol cream on top, as part of your evening routine.
I already use retinol in the evening. Which niacinamide-rich skincare do you recommend?
We recommend incorporating the Multi-Active Serum into your morning routine. It contains niacinamide and a synergy of active ingredients targeting radiance, hydration, and skin quality, without interfering with your evening retinol routine.
I have sensitive and reactive skin. Can I use the Multi-Active Serum?
Yes. The Multi-Active Serum has been formulated to suit all skin types, including sensitive skin. It contains soothing actives and prebiotics that help strengthen the skin barrier. For very reactive skin, we advise against retinol skincare or recommend introducing it very gradually, in small amounts, to assess your skin's tolerance.
For dark spots, is it better to use the Intensive Radiance Cream or the Clarifying Care?
Both products target spots and can be used complementarily. Generally, the Clarifying Care is better suited for red post-acne spots thanks to the azelaic acid and niacinamide it contains. The Radiance Cream is more focused on brown spots and hyperpigmentation. If you are unsure about your type of spots, we recommend consulting your dermatologist.
Can I use the Intensive Radiance Cream in the morning?
Yes. Unlike free retinol, the encapsulated retinol contained in the 0.1% Radiance Cream is more stable and less likely to increase sun sensitivity. Morning application is possible, provided you always use appropriate sun protection.
