Céramosides™

Céramosides™ are plant-derived actives obtained from soybean and wheat seed extracts, rich in glycosphingolipids and digalactosyldiacylglycerol (DGDG). Available scientific data document them for their association with supporting endogenous ceramide production.
Sphingolipids are major lipids of the intercellular cement of the stratum corneum, linked to cellular cohesion and skin comfort. Over time and due to external factors, endogenous quantity may decrease. Céramosides™ are associated, according to available data, with supporting this process.
Orally, they are documented to contribute to supporting mechanisms involved in endogenous sphingolipid production, themselves linked to skin comfort.

Supplier clinical studies: 3 randomized double-blind placebo-controlled studies associating Céramosides™ with visible improvement in hydration (+16% at Day 15, +21% at Day 60 vs placebo), visible suppleness (+18% at Day 15, +26% at Day 60 vs placebo), and water comfort appearance.
Results concern the ingredient alone and do not predict the outcome on the finished product.
